NYC School Account

Parents and Guardians: We’ve made it easier to sign up for a NYC Schools Account (NYCSA). Setting up a basic account will allow you to get emergency notifications from the NYC Department of Education. You can create a basic account online from any computer, phone, or tablet. All you need to do is:

  • Visit NYC School Account to begin to create an account.
  • Set up the account by: Entering your name and email address, creating a password, and answering a few brief security questions so you can reset the password if you forget it.

After you create your account, you will need to verify your identity and your relationship to that student by contacting the school. Once you verify your identity, you will be able to see additional information, such as your child’s grades, test scores, and attendance.

 Operoo Logo

We are excited to advise you that we are adopting a new system named Operoo, previously known as CareMonkey.

The Operoo system makes it very easy for you to respond to field trip, camp and other consent forms using your mobile phone, tablet or PC.
No more paperwork! No more lost forms or notes covered in a squashed banana in bags, no more concerns about children missing information when they are absent.

It will greatly reduce the burden on you to provide information that is repetitive. For example, it will allow you to keep your or your child’s emergency contact and medical information up to date; so you don’t need to repeat this information again whilst your child is at Inwood Early College It also puts you in control of this data so you’ll always know what emergency contacts and medical information is shared with Inwood Early College.

We do need a valid email address from you in order to use the Operoo system. Please share those details with us if you have not already.

You do not need to do anything else until you receive an email invitation from us asking you to sign up for your Operoo account. After that, you will receive notifications whenever there is an electronic form to complete for Inwood Early College.

From Inwood Early College’s perspective, you or your child’s information will only be visible by the relevant staff for you or your child and will be managed in accordance with our privacy policies. Visit Operoo's Security and Privacy Procedures  for additional information.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. You can visit the Operoo website for more information. Be sure to visit Operoo: Introduction for Parents
